GRO Marketing Committee Meeting Minutes

  1. Meeting Location : 8:17 AM @ Crex Meadows Visitor Center; then a field trip to Memory Lake Park
    1. Attendees: Lauren Finch, Ben Binversie, Chris Bartlett
  1. Review Old Business:
    1. Final review of minutes from the July 10 committee meeting. All in agreement to leave as is.
  1. Current Business:
    1. Tactical
      1. Took field trip to Memory Lake Park to Review kiosk
        1. Reviewed Corner of Olson and Oak
          1. Busy Intersection
          2. No Off-Street parking
          3. Close to Downtown
        2. Reviewed Memory Lake Park/Parking Lot/Dam Location
          1. Off-Street Parking Available
          2. Campground, Playground, Dam, and Trails Close-by
          3. About 1 block from downtown
        3. Recommendation from Field Trip  The Memory Lake Park parking lot/playground/campground location by the dam appears to be the best location today.
  1. New Business:
    1. Next Meeting is Tuesday, September 18 @ 8:17 AM in the Crex Meadows Visitor Center
    2. Final follow-up with Linda Schroder and kiosk vendors
    3. Review Fonts and Trail Legend
    4. Begin work on kiosk handout
    5. Review help request from GRO Renewel Committee  Help with banner design for light poles.
    6. Review findings from kiosk location field trip.
