Meeting Minutes, NR Committee
Friday, March 11, 2016 Noon, Wake Up call
Present: Pam Davies, Julie Chell, Bob Hartshorn
Jerry could not make the meeting due to last minute conflict. Steve Hoffman came late after the meeting had ended.
Bob got confirmation from GRO that there would be $200.00 provided for the Wood River signage needed as canoeists and kayakers enter and leave the Gun Club property. These signs will be ordered from Badger State Industries
Dates for working on the river:

  • Wednesday, May 25, 8:00 am Meet at Wild River Outfitters or at HWY 70 Bridge. Clear winter debris from the river down to Raspberry Landing.
  • Wednesday, June 1, 8:00 am Meet at Rod and Gun Club. Clear log jam behind Club. Club will be closed so that we can access the river on land and work in safety. Place signage. Volunteers with chain saws needed.
  • Wednesday, June 7, 8:00 am Meet at Memory Lake. Finish river cleanup from Memory Lake to the Gun Club and then to HWY 70.

We need to get new email for Rod K.
We don’t know what is happening with the Kiosks now that Alyssa is no longer handling this. No snow means no X country skiing and no trail grooming. Trails were well groomed when there was snow.
Olson Drive Project: Waiting to see what comes up of plots planted last fall and daffodils.
No meeting in April.
Next Meeting Friday, May 13, 8 am at Wake Up Call. Set meeting for second Friday of the month at 8 am when possible.
