  1. First Team Meeting was at the Grantsburg Public Library
    1. Attendees: Nicki Peterson, Pam Davies, Lauren Finch, Halle Pardun, Ben Binversie
  1. Nicki shared documentation on previous work that had been done to help brand and promote the Grantsburg community.
  1. Drafted a Subcommittee Purpose Statement:
    1. The purpose of the GRO Promotions and Branding Committee is to promote the Grantsburg community while supporting all GRO projects ensuring a cohesive brand targeting residents, businesses, and visitors.
  1. Identified potential committee goals:
    1. Create digital and print media
      1. Grantsburg sell sheet
        1. Businesses
        2. Residents and Visitors
    2. Be all inclusive — open to all
      1. Residents
      2. Businesses
      3. Visitors
    3. Create a place to communicate community events
    4. Timely execution of signs, billboards, projects, etc.
  1. Ben B will report out at the GRO meeting on 5-9-2018
    1. Present purpose statement and goals
    2. Ask GRO committees “How can we support your efforts?”
  1. Plan for subcommittee is to meet 1 x per month
    1. 1st Tuesday  8AM @ Crex Meadows Visitor/Nature Center
  1. June Meeting Agenda:
    1. Review goals and purpose statement
    2. Review feedback from monthly GRO meeting
    3. Begin generating ideas and working on what the Marketing committee will do and how to make it happen
