U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy’s recent “Call to Action” encourages communities to create safe, accessible places for people to walk, bike and wheelchair roll. Federal funds are targeting our county as well as other counties throughout the country to help us identify ways to make our community more “walkable” and “bikeable.” The timing couldn’t be better for GRO!! Here are some links to this great new initiative.
